Up-to-date newsletter from the 2017 AASA conference

New Orleans – Feb. 27, 2017 – From start to finish, superintendents, education stakeholders, journalists and communications officers can follow activities at AASA’s National Conference on Education in New Orleans, La., through Conference Daily Online.

The award-winning publication will feature a new layout and include coverage of key speakers, topical sessions, award winners, AASA governance activities, plus photo and video galleries from each day of the conference. The online site also will include daily blog postings by four AASA members, a continuous Twitter feed (#NCE17) and Facebook page updates.

“The main purpose of providing wall-to-wall coverage through Conference Daily Online is to ensure that the leadership of our nation’s school districts is aware of the wealth of relevant information and insights generated at our conference,” said Jay P. Goldman, editor-in-chief. “We look forward to sharing our news with those attending, but equally as important the school system leaders who will not be joining us in New Orleans.”

A daily e-newsletter with news and photo highlights will be sent to all AASA members from New Orleans on four consecutive mornings, beginning March 2.

During the first General Session (Thursday, March 2), AASA’s 2017 National Superintendent of the Year will be announced. (VIDEO: Watch the four finalists.)
