Robert Duke is Chief Operating Officer for CoSN. In this capacity, he is responsible for membership services, strategy, certification, conferences, peer review, and administration. Mr. Duke has worked in the non-profit community for 30 years serving in various roles for professional membership associations and trade associations primarily in the technology and education sectors.
Prior to joining COSN, Robert managed administrative operations for the International Association of Fire Chiefs. He held a similar position with the Public Technology Institute which is a service organization for local government information technology professionals.
Robert supports the advancement of the Association community on a volunteer basis as a member of the American Society of Association Executives Certified Association Executive Exam Committee and as a facilitator for ASAE finance and leadership training sessions. He previously served as Chair of the Networking and Nominating Committee for the ASAE Finance and Business Operations Council. Robert has an MBA degree from the College of William and Mary and a BA from Hampden-Sydney College.
