Illinois Mom Creates New EdTech Platform Making Math Accessible

Marcia Edel is an Illinois based web app developer, entrepreneur and founder of newly launched web-program, KiwiWrite. Founded on the premise of making math more accessible, and specifically crafted to help those with disabilities thrive in math, KiwiWrite is a computer-based program that removes handwriting as a barrier for learning. As a female entrepreneur in a male-dominated tech field, Edel’s unique experiences have crafted an avenue for her to create a program that helps children and families like her own. 

As a mother to a child with dysgraphia and fine motor issues, Edel found motivation in helping her daughter not only make it through school, but to thrive.
