Intelitek Launches Hands-On Electrical Systems Trainer to Prepare High School Students for In-Demand Industrial Careers

DERRY, N.H. – (May 13, 2025) – As U.S. industries face growing demand for skilled technical talent, Intelitek, a global leader in career and technical education (CTE), is helping high schools equip their students with the practical, job-ready skills employers need. The company today announced the launch of its new portable Electrical Systems Trainer and CFS Electrical Circuits course, part of Intelitek’s CTE Fundamentals Series (CFS), designed to deliver hands-on learning with the electrical systems that power today’s industrial workplaces.

The tabletop lab system lets students design and build real industrial electrical circuits, taking learning beyond the textbook and into applied practice. Paired with Intelitek’s online curriculum, students explore essential topics such as circuit safety, voltage and current measurement, schematic reading, power testing, and electrical troubleshooting — all aligned with real-world industry practices.

“Many high school students don’t get the chance to work with the tools and tasks they’ll encounter in technical careers,” said Tony Oran, CEO of Intelitek. “This system bridges that gap, giving students meaningful, hands-on experience that connects their classroom learning to real workforce opportunities.”

The trainer is compact and portable, making it easy for high schools to implement in both small and large classes. It comes with a complete instructor package including curriculum, guides, assessments, and hardware, and its built-in storage ensures it fits neatly into limited classroom or lab space.

For CTE school leaders, the solution offers an affordable, scalable entry point into industrial electrical training — with the potential to expand into advanced topics like automation, robotics, and mechatronics. Intelitek’s broader CFS program prepares students for technician and maintenance roles across sectors like manufacturing, semiconductor production, and automated systems — fields that are projected to need tens of thousands of skilled workers before the end of the decade.

“Electrical systems are the backbone of modern industry,” Oran added. “We’re giving high schools the tools to deliver skills-based learning that not only engages students but also sets them on a clear path to essential, well-paying technical careers.”
