Allison Rodman is an assistant principal and director of professional development at Mariana Bracetti Academy, a K–12 Title I school in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and an ASCD Emerging Leader. Rodman took time to discuss the personalization of PD for teachers with Dr. Berger.

Rodman is an executive committee member of PhillyCORE Leaders, a diverse coalition of rising education leaders whose mission is to build a more positive and collaborative education community by connecting leaders who are making an impact on Philadelphia education.

Rodman’s work focuses on personalizing learning for both teachers and students. This includes the design and facilitation of flexible/blended professional learning models; authentic performance tasks; and rich, targeted feedback. She shares resources with educators via her website, The Learning Loop, and has presented at various events and conferences and appeared as a guest on ASCD’s The Whole Child Podcast.
