Scribbles Software Hosts Webinar to Discuss Best Practices and Strategies for K-12 Budget Planning

Free webinar on January 19, 2023 provides budgeting strategies for administrators who handle records, admissions and registrations

Pineville, NC – January 13, 2023 – Scribbles Software, a leading provider of K-12 records and enrollment software, is hosting a free webinar at 2 p.m. ET on Thursday, January 19, 2023 to help districts as they begin to plan for the 2023-24 school year. The 30-minute webinar is for new records, student services, or admissions/registration administrators who are encountering budgeting for the first time, and for seasoned professionals who are looking to learn additional tips on how other districts approach budgeting. It is hosted by the company’s director of customer support and success Dr. Bridget Jones, who will share best practices for budget planning, including working together as a district team, budget planning tools, strategies to help advocate for programs and how to determine a program’s return-on-investment.

“As districts move through the budget planning process, this webinar will provide some helpful guidance for both new, and experienced district and school administrators,” said Dr. Bridget Jones, director of client support and success for Scribbles Software. “We’ll discuss issues such as setting expectations, developing goals, getting input, determining which programs to invest in, and more. Our goal is to help school administrators and budgeting staff think through different areas of budget planning. We’re looking forward to the discussion.”

Jones has extensive experience in education and family engagement. She has developed expertise in budgeting during her career in education, which includes work on several multimillion-dollar USDOE i3 Grants to help districts expand opportunities and educational programs for students.  She has also worked as a teacher, STEM coordinator and choice-program manager for school districts. Jones joined Scribbles in 2019. Her current role includes helping districts budget for and implement new programs and software solutions that will help them reach their strategic goals.
