Free, downloadable guide provides resources for educators, administrators and families
Charlotte N.C. (Dec. 14, 2022) — Winter is a good time of year for educators, administrators and families to reflect and recharge, and focus on finding new ways to help students stay engaged and productive into the new year. Practicing social and emotional skills is a good way to achieve these goals. Aperture Education’s new Winter SEL Guide contains 19 pages of social and emotional learning (SEL) strategies, resources and activities to help educators, administrators and families end the year strong and get the new year off to a good start.

“Winter can be a busy time of year and it’s important for students and adults to focus on their social and emotional wellbeing – whether it’s managing stress and avoiding distractions during the holidays or staying motivated and engaged after school resumes,” says Jessica Adamson, CEO of Aperture Education. “Our Winter SEL Guide helps address the specific SEL challenges educators, administrators and families might face during this time of year to help set them – and their students – up for success.”
It offers activities like SEL challenges that teachers and families can do with students, as well as strategies that administrators can use to help educators feel supported and appreciated.
This year Aperture Education also broke out its Winter SEL Guide into three mini guides. Check out the administrator edition (), the educator edition (https://info.apertureed.com/2022wg-edu) and the family edition (https://info.apertureed.com/2022wg-family).
