In this episode of the CoSN podcast, we are joined by CoSN board member Steve Langford, the Chief Information Officer for Oregon’s Beaverton School District, and Lillian Kellogg, Senior Vice President of Client Services at Education Networks of America (ENA), and Affiliates discuss how IT leaders and business partners can better understand each other’s needs within the evolving vendor-purchaser environment.

Among many themes, the guests discuss managing the expanded universe of education technology that is affecting vendors and partnerships (1:24), how school districts are now pushing the needle with vendors (3:30), implementing solutions with finite resources (7:35), methods vendors can use so they don’t waste the time of CIOs and administrators (22:50), and the importance of connected and collaborative partnerships that exist outside the vendor relationship (26:24).
