Just Add Power Maximizes the Video Over IP Experience With the MC-TX3 MaxColor 4K60 Series Transmitter at ISE 2024

MC-TX3 Supports 4K60 Video and AES67 Audio System Integration

SEMINOLE, Fla. — Jan. 31, 2024 — Just Add Power, a leader in AV-over-IP distribution, will debut the MC-TX3 MaxColor 4K60 Series transmitter at ISE 2024. Like the rest of the MaxColor Series, the MC-TX3 features native 4K60 support from source to screen and adds support for AES67 compatibility along with power over USB-C for an incredibly flexible video-over-IP solution.

“When we introduced our 3G Ultra 4K 767AES transmitter, our customers asked that we add the AES67 compatibility to the MaxColor Series,” said Taft Stricklin, chief sales officer at Just Add Power. “Just Add Power has always taken the road of providing the utmost flexibility to fit any project. The new MC-TX3 is the best of both worlds.”

The MC-TX3 MaxColor 4K60 Series transmitter natively supports 4K60 in and out, allowing end-users to play Ultra HD video from the growing number of 4K sources and devices now available, along with compatibility for AES67 audio systems. With MC-TX3, video at 12-bit color and 4:4:4 chroma can be distributed over existing Cat5/Cat6 cable. Like the MC-TX2, the new transmitter offers power over USB-C, supporting KVM or, for example, a USB web camera signal over IP. Further, it supports MPEG downstreaming for connected devices, such as a laptop or tablet. Even more, it supports input for LPCM audio up to eight channels, AES67 audio send and receive up to eight channels, and AES67 audio injection into any Just Add Power network. Like many other transmitters in the Just Add Power lineup, it includes HDMI pass-through; control of endpoints via RS-232, IR, and CEC; and Image Pull, which allows users to preview an image from any source or display from any web browser or control system at up to 10 fps.
