GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Feb 15th 2022: Meteor Education is excited to announce the launch of [ME]Publishing, affording the company the ability to deliver even further on its promise to educators. [ME]Publishing rounds out Meteor Education’s commitment to accelerated engagement and transformed learning experiences for educators, students, and communities. You can learn more about [ME] Publishing at https://mepub.meteoreducation.com/. “We are taking the next step by creating an internal publishing arm that strategically aligns with our mission by providing innovative, research-based, and inspirational content so that we can better help and serve our clients”, said Bill Latham, the CEO of Meteor Education. [ME]Publishing will introduce new content during five release seasons throughout the year. The first product release for February 2022 can be found on our website here and include:
  • FLEX-ED – The Key to Thriving Classrooms by Kelly Almer
  • The Genius Spark – Rediscovering the Power of Your Unique Strengths by Rex Miller
  • Surviving the Storm – Leading Through Post-Traumatic Growth by Rex Miller and LindaGail Walker

The [ME]Pub team is led by two innovative leaders. Joseph Myers, publisher, has 20+ years of experience in creating and publishing K-12 curriculum. Laura Lockhart, acquisitions editor, is a proven leader and practitioner with over 20 years of experience working in K-12 schools. Mr. Latham continued, “Schools are confronting acute issues that attack, distract, and impede education at its core. Shifting learning environments increased access to information, and the fluidity of student social structures invite schools to think and act differently. [ME]Publishing gives a voice to the best thinkers and practitioners who underpin the future of education. We publish content that provides hope and help for those in the daily trenches so that students move from disengaged to engaged learners.”  [ME]Publishing accomplishes this by publishing content that falls within three areas:

  • Environments to Experiences
  • Accelerate Engagement
  • Impact and Scale
