MiEN Appoints Avron Levin as Senior Director of Furniture Innovation

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Aug. 1, 2024 – MiEN Company has announced that Avron Levin is joining the company as its Senior Director of Furniture Innovation. In his new role, Levin will lead MiEN’s creative team, overseeing their collaborations with educational institutions around designing agile, active learning spaces that empower modern instruction and engage all learners.

Levin brings over 20 years of industry experience to MiEN. He now heads the company’s four-person creative design team of Mariely Leon, Nathan Warwick, Scott Thorr, and Cory Ellison.

Levin’s industry experience includes founding NorvaNivel, a furniture design and manufacturing company specializing in learning spaces, in 2012. Under his guidance as the company’s creative director, furniture and spaces were developed that fostered engagement and collaboration.

After stepping down from his position at NorvaNivel in 2023, Levin focused on sharing his design expertise and creative skills with clients in Israel and the United States until he accepted his new role at MiEN. “I have been familiar with Avron and his educational furniture designs for many years, consistently impressed by his thoughtful and innovative products. His designs seamlessly integrate meaning, form, and function, creating solutions that enhance educational environments.
