The nation’s leading digital flyer system, Peachjar was selected for its quality, effectiveness, ease of use and impact
The Tech & Learning Best of Show winners were chosen by an anonymous panel of educator judges who scoured the conference floor and evaluated products in areas such as quality and effectiveness, ease of use and creative use of technology. The judges then met to decide which technologies will have the most impact and most deserve the honor.
“We’re thrilled that Peachjar earned this prestigious distinction from Tech & Learning,” said Cara Aley, COO of Peachjar. “Peachjar is gaining tremendous traction among K-12 schools, camps and community organizations by providing the tools they need to distribute and receive information about extracurricular and enrichment activities. Our selection as an ISTE Best of Show winner demonstrates that the education industry is paying close attention to the importance of effective communications in school districts. We’re honored that Tech & Learning has recognized our tool for making a major impact.”
School districts who have gone digital using Peachjar save an average of $36,000 per school, per year, in paper and labor costs. Peachjar’s digital flyer service keeps parents up-to-date about enrichment and education opportunities and raises visibility for community organizations and their programs. It helps schools save time by communicating to all audiences at once; save money by eliminating printing costs; and save the environment by conserving paper. The Best of Show awards note that they focus on technology that is having an impact in the classroom. Peachjar achieves this by increasing parent and student engagement, promoting whole child development through introduction and access to enriching opportunities, and helping teachers reallocate time away from administrative duties.
Peachjar, the nation’s leading digital flyer system for more than 12,000 K-12 schools in North America, empowers schools and organizations with the tools to connect parents with the necessary resources to enrich the lives of their children. The company’s cloud-based system enables partnerships between schools, communities and parents by making it easier to organize, distribute and receive information about extracurricular and enrichment activities. Founded in 2013, the company has helped school districts save more than two billion sheets of paper and more than $36K per school, per year. Peachjar is currently used by thousands of schools and community organizations in the US and reaches more than 7 million parents. For more information visit https://www.peachjar.com.
