Polish Digital Academy Names Skriware CEO A Digital Shaper of 2022

Karol Górnowicz, CEO of Skriware, an international edtech company providing schools with equipment and lesson plans that enable practical and hands-on education in the spirit of STEAM, was named a Digital Shaper in the Education category of the fifth annual Digital Shapers program from the Polish Digital Academy in conjunction with Forbes Poland. Digital Shapers honors a prestigious group of 15 leaders in the digitalization of the economy in Poland. Nearly 220 expert judges recognized the contribution of Skriware’s CEO to the development of digital competencies and building the future of education in Poland.

“I am grateful for such a high honor, and at the same time I hope that it will make even more people interested in creating education for the 21st century. We live in a time of dynamic change, so methods of teaching, based on recitation of facts have long ceased to work,” said Karol Górnowicz, CEO of Skriware. “Our chance to create schools of the future, and ultimately a world of equal opportunities, is to stimulate students’ curiosity, promote critical thinking, build a culture of discussing problems and learning creative ways to solve them. I believe that this will soon become even easier by using the potential inherent in artificial intelligence in education.”

Górnowicz is an expert in startup development and STEAM education and has been responsible for the company’s development since February 2017. His mission is to support students acquiring digital competencies that are valued on the job market and to help teachers teach innovative lessons using the latest technologies.

Górnowicz led Skriware during some of its most recent accomplishments, including its partnership with the Polish Future Labs Program and ranking 79th in Financial Times’ seventh annual FT 1000: Europe’s Fastest Growing Companies. To learn more about Skriware, visit skriware.com.
