Scribbles Software Named Education/EdTech Company of the Year in EdTech Chronicle’s 2023 Best in Education Awards

Charlotte, North Carolina – April 11 2024 –  Scribbles Software, a leading provider of K-12 software solutions for document management, records processing, enrollment, and lottery management, was named Education/EdTech Company of the Year in the inaugural Best in Education (“Bestie”) awards from EdTech Chronicle.

The Best in Education Awards recognize outstanding effort and accomplishments in education and edtech and elevate the people and the tactics that make this crucial market thrive.

“It is an honor to earn this top award from the EdTech Chronicle for our accomplishments over the past year,” said Scribbles Software Co-CEO Chris Lueck. “We are proud of our work to help school districts and higher education institutions streamline their records management and enrollment processes and move paper-based processes online. Being named Education/EdTech Company of the Year recognizes our team’s hard work and achievements.”

Scribbles Software’s solutions are used by schools, school districts, and higher education institutions across the country, including 23 of the nation’s 30 largest school districts. Scribbles’ solutions are designed to provide students and families with equitable access to school district resources, all through a secure cloud-based system. It is the only company that offers solutions for the entire student life cycle, from pre-K to post-graduation.

The company’s milestones and industry leadership in 2023 include:

  • Launching its newest product, ScribForward (scribsoft.com/scribforward), which expanded its award-winning portfolio of solutions into the higher education market. ScribForward helps college and university admissions departments streamline management of student application documents by providing a secure, organized online portal to manage letters of recommendation, transcripts and more.
  • Partnering with the Center for Generational Kinetics to conduct a national survey and report that provides insight about families’ needs and expectations when it comes to accessing information from their schools.
  • Partnering with PowerSchool, the provider of Naviance eDocs to allow students and schools to use Scribbles and Naviance to send digital transcripts to colleges and universities with the click of a button.
  • Adding a new “Mass Lottery” feature to help districts automatically configure multiple lotteries of any size and level of complexity. Processes that used to take weeks, now take just minutes.
