The WNET Group Hosts Experts in Education and Innovation to Explore the Role of Media and Technology in the Future of Education

Virtual event on April 28, 2022, brings together parents, teachers and administrators for an in-depth discussion about the digital divide and the innovations that could transform education

 New York (April 26, 2022) — The WNET Group, home to New York’s PBS stations THIRTEEN and WLIW21, operator of New Jersey’s statewide public television network NJ PBS, and Long Island’s only NPR station WLIW-FM, is hosting “The Role of Media And Technology In The Future Of Education,” a virtual panel discussion on Thursday, April 28, 2022, examining the growing digital divide, how parents, teachers and students have adapted, and the impact recent innovations will have on the future of education.

Featuring leading experts in their fields, the conversation will take place from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Panelists will discuss how teachers, parents, and students have adapted to effectively teach and learn in the face of the growing digital divide. They will also shed light on resources, innovations, and solutions that have emerged and could help strengthen and transform the education systems going forward.
