Charlotte, North Carolina – January 24 2024 – Scribbles Software, a leading provider of K-12 software solutions for document management, records processing, enrollment, and lottery management, has made significant updates to its ScribOnline document management system to continue to improve the customer experience and make it easier for schools and districts to maintain and organize data.
ScribOnline provides a secure, permanent archive in the cloud for student records, human resources records, finance records, and more, helping ensure school districts’ documents can be securely accessed from anywhere at any time. The updates to the system allow school and district staff to more easily conduct mass scanning and uploading of documents, search for data using customizable index values, and update scanned documents using insertion, deletion, and notation tools.
Scribbles is demonstrating the updated ScribOnline system, as well as its other solutions for records processing, document management, enrollment and lottery management, in booth #2725 at the 2024 FETC conference January 23-26 in Orlando, Florida.

ScribOnline is used by school systems nationwide with enrollments ranging from under 200 to more than 300,000 students. It stores staff and alumni documents in a secure online location, while making documents more accessible for the credentialed staff who need them to do their jobs more efficiently and effectively. The specific updates in 2024 include:
ScribCapture updates. The ScribCapture new lead sheet printing capability makes the mass scanning and uploading process even simpler. Documents can now be scanned and automatically uploaded and stored in the correct location in the system, rather than staff having to sort through individual documents and assign them to the correct files.
New management tools: Staff can also keep documents up-to-date with tools that provide the ability to insert, delete, redact, and notate information on documents in the cloud.
Improved search functionality. Updates to the search functionality within ScribOnline ensure users can easily find documents based on a number of customizable index values, which is crucial when searching for documents for alumni with the same or similar names. The ability to limit indexes based on document type has also been added to maintain organization and data cleanliness across departments.
