Chicago (February 16, 2024) — Tech & Learning has named Avantis Education’s ClassVR a winner in the Tech & Learning Awards of Excellence: Best of 2023, marking the company’s 10th U.S. award win in the past two years. ClassVR, Avantis’ innovative all-in-one VR/AR headsets and content platform won in the Primary Education category which recognizes standout products for grades K-6. “Virtual reality is a powerful tool to support student engagement and we are thrilled to be consistently recognized as the leader in VR and AR in K-12 education,” said Avantis Education CEO Huw Williams. “Our team is constantly working to support teachers by adding expanded content and new scenes to our Eduverse platform that immerse students in the subjects they are learning about. Thanks Tech & Learning.”

The Tech & Learning Awards of Excellence: Best of 2023 recognize educational technology that exceptionally supported teachers and students in 2023. In their comments, the judges said “ClassVR is the total package when it comes to bringing and scaling Virtual Reality use for schools.”

“2023 will surely be remembered as ‘the year of AI,’ but there were plenty of examples of products that integrated a variety of innovative technology to help to improve teaching and learning,” said Christine Weiser, Content Director for Tech & Learning in a statement announcing the winners. “Congratulations to the … winners for supporting innovation in schools.”
