Nominations are now open for the 2024 Teacher Leader Impact Awards which recognize standout teachers nationwide. As part of this fourth annual awards program from Edthena, school-based administrators can nominate teacher leaders who are having an impact in their classrooms and beyond through their dedication to lifelong learning and the continuous improvement of their teaching practices. The winning teachers will each receive a school-wide subscription to the AI Coach by Edthena platform for the 2024-25 school year to support their—and their colleagues’—ongoing professional development.
“Teachers are the backbone of every great school and their hard work and dedication should never go unnoticed,” said Adam Geller, CEO of Edthena. “The Teacher Leader Impact Awards is just one way to recognize—and celebrate—teachers who especially go above and beyond to improve their own effectiveness while continually supporting their students, fellow educators, and school community.”
Nominations, which are free and take only a few minutes to submit, must be completed by a school-level administrator. The nomination form includes a brief summary of how the nominee is continually improving and the positive impacts of the nominee’s teaching and lifelong learning.
Nominations are due by May 15, 2024. Winners will be announced on May 29, 2024.
All winners will be awarded a school-wide subscription to the AI Coach platform for this coming school year. This adaptive, first-of-its-kind solution uses artificial intelligence (AI) to support teachers as they work through personalized coaching cycles. Using the platform, teachers independently reflect on their practice and set near-term goals as part of a self-paced module that mirrors the instructional coaching process to further their professional development.
