Boston – Feb. 11, 2025 – The journey to literacy leadership is filled with milestones, unexpected challenges, and transformative moments for each educator. Lexia’s four-day “Science of Reading Week” will equip attendees to take the next step in their journey. Attendees will gain access to toolkits, frameworks, and templates for implementing evidence-based literacy practices as well as expert insights and collaborative support for driving measurable, equitable literacy success.

Science of Reading Week will be hosted by Cassandra Wheeler, Lexia’s Senior Education Advisor. “Last year nearly 10,000 district administrators, school administrators, teachers, and faculty across America registered, making it No. 1 on EdWeb,” said Wheeler. “Attendees praised the series for its insightful expert discussions, actionable literacy strategies, and engaging, relatable content that deepened their understanding of the science of reading and the systemic challenges in literacy instruction. This year, we’re continuing on this journey.”

A highlight of the upcoming event will be showcasing students and their powerful stories of literacy transformation. Through recorded student interviews from classrooms, schools, and districts nationwide, Lexia will highlight the real impact of reading success. These personal narratives will bring to life the voices of young readers, sharing their journeys, challenges, and triumphs in literacy. By capturing the authentic experiences of students, Lexia reinforces its commitment to empowering learners and shaping the future of literacy.

Each live session will take place at 12 p.m. ET.
