Lexia’s ‘All For Literacy’ Podcast Kicks Off Fifth Season with a New Host and a New Focus on Science of Reading Implementation and Sustainability

“All For Literacy” has earned a 4.9 rating on Apple Podcasts and a 4.7 rating on Spotify, becoming a cornerstone for advancing literacy education.

The popular “All For Literacy” monthly podcast series from Lexia has returned with a new host, Lexia Senior Education Advisor Kerri Larkin.

BOSTON (Nov. 3, 2025) – The popular “All For Literacy” monthly podcast series from Lexia, a Cambium Learning Group brand, has returned with a new host, Lexia Senior Education Advisor Kerri Larkin. This season, Larkin is exploring how educators are implementing the science of reading. Listeners can tune into new episodes, as well as the first four seasons of the series, via Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Audible, Podchaser, and YouTube.

Larkin succeeds Dr. Liz Brook, Lexia’s Chief Learning Officer, who had hosted the podcast since its debut in 2023. “Under Dr. Brook’s stewardship, ‘All For Literacy’ helped us understand the neuroscience and educational psychology behind why so many of us struggle with some component of reading. More importantly, she and her guests shared what instruction would mitigate that struggle,” said Larkin. “Going forward, we’re going to talk about how to translate that science into meaningful classroom instruction, systems alignment, and systems change – what works, the challenges that remain, and how to move forward.”

Lexia experts will regularly join fifth season episodes as special contributors including:

  • Lexia National Senior Education Advisor Octavia Essex-Gray, Ed.D.
  • Lexia Region Office and State Organization Outreach Specialist Candace Hall, M.Ed.

“Octavia and Candance will be bringing fresh perspectives, specific expertise, and a brand-new lens to the topics that our panelists discuss,” said Larkin. “I’m looking forward to hearing what they and our guests will share this season.”

Larkin’s experience with the power of literacy transformation will serve her well as the podcast’s host. Prior to joining Lexia in 2021, Larkin spent more than 20 years teaching and leading the District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS). Under her leadership as Senior Deputy Chief of Specialized Instruction, DCPS students with disabilities made double digit gains on the NAEP assessment, in both reading and math. Lexia played a meaningful role in that progress.  Since joining Lexia, Larkin travels nationally and collaborates with District leaders all over the country who are “learning out loud” about the science of reading and its capacity to transform outcomes for all students.
