Welcome to our recap of ISTELive22 day four! If you haven’t read our day one, two, and three recaps, check them out. Today we will wrap up our conference coverage and the key themes and messages on the expo floor, concurrent sessions, and mainstage presentations.
Leading with Joy
On the main stage of day one, Richard Culatta, CEO of ISTE, challenged attendees to “‘spend some time thinking about what brings you joy.” This set an amazing standard for the entire conference. From the excellent conversations this spurred to the other speakers that built off of Culatta’s message, the entire conference was a celebration of joy in education technology.
“We need an infusion of joy next school year.” @iste
The @inclusive365 team has a lot of advice for bringing joy back to the classroom through inclusive learning practices. Just look at the #InclusiveRoadToISTE! #ISTELive #NotAtISTE pic.twitter.com/tdbuq7HIrH

Tools For Creativity
On day two of the conference, we heard from several students and thought leaders on the topic of creativity. We learned how creativity is at the root of education and edtech and how learning is a lifelong process.

Philosophy For The Future
On day three, we explored a philosophical approach to education, discourse, and politics centered on respect.

Putting Educators First
Finally, on the closing main stage, we heard from educators. The speeches from Annelise Cassar Tedesco, Spencer Kiper, and Juliana Urtubey reminded us that teachers and administrators are the beating heart of the edtech industry.
