The 2025 Educators Pick Best of STEM® Awards is currently accepting applications from STEM companies worldwide. Now in its fifth year, this annual awards program—hosted by Catapult X in partnership with MCH Strategic Data, the National Association of Biology Teachers (NABT), and the National Science Teaching Association (NSTA)—recognizes innovative products, technologies, and services that are positively impacting STEM education.
“We intentionally created the Educators Pick Best of STEM Awards for STEM educators to hear from their peers about what products they think are having the biggest impact on STEM teaching and learning. Our educator judges pick the most innovative and effective offerings available on the market today,” said Daylene Long, CEO of Catapult X.
To enter, companies must complete a short nomination, including a description of the product, service, or technology; the grade levels the product, service, or technology serves (PreK-college/university level); and the company website and name. Companies can additionally provide a limited license or product for judges to review, as well as schedule product demonstrations during the judging period.
All nominations are due by June 4, 2025. The cost is $695 for one submission, $625 per submission for two to four submissions, and $575 per submission for five or more submissions.
The awards program features nearly 50 categories suitable for subject-specific products, Career & Technical Education (CTE) products, organizations pushing the boundaries of technology for teaching and learning, products and services that are specifically helping educators accelerate student learning, and more. This includes 10 new categories added this year:
- AI Teaching Assistant of the Year
- AI for Personalized Learning at Scale
- AI for Smarter Schools
- AI Trailblazer
- AI in School Safety & Response
- AI for Inclusive Learning
- Best Innovation for AI for Teaching & Learning
- Best Hands-On Materials for OpenSciEd
- Best Entrepreneurship Program for CTE
- CTE Champions: Invention Education
Led by Annie Galvin Teich, president of The Teich Group, this year’s judges are Erin Barr, Kim Collazo, Jamica Craig, Dr. Jeffrey Crapper, Dr. Omah Duncan, Dr. Linda Johnson-McClinton, and Dr. Rachelle Dené Poth.
Educator judging will take place in July followed by the announcement of finalists on August 5, 2025. All finalists will then take part in a popular vote, which is open to more than 267,000 STEM educators, with winners announced on August 20, 2025.
All winners and finalists will have the opportunity to receive additional visibility with the Brand Boost premium marketing package. This includes a full educator product review, a one- to five-minute video segment with an Educators Pick Best of STEM Awards judge, and year-round visibility across the Educators Pick Best of STEM Awards’ platforms.
