Alex Serna is a Program Director for Breakthrough San Juan Capistrano, a nonprofit with the mission to support highly motivated, but underserved students by providing tuition-free, year-round academic support and college counseling for 10 years. He earned his B.A in American Studies from UC Berkeley, later enrolling in UCLA’s Teacher Education Program where he received his master's degree in urban education and secondary social studies teaching credential. He has four daughters and resides in Orange County, CA.
