Redefining What it Means to Be a Teacher

Mark Rogers is a math teacher in Round Rock, TX. We both shared the stage, at SXSW Edu, as panelists for the LaunchEdu program. Mark talks about his professional transition from investment banker to teacher and what it means to be a male in education. Roger's passion for his students elicits a new look at what it means to be a teacher in the U.S. Listen to the interview below:

Mr. Rogers creates a song to help Geometry students classify triangles by sides and angles. This song also helps students remember the different congruency theorems and postulates. Watch one of Mark’s more well known instructional videos below:

    Dr. Berger is one of many contributors to edCircuit. As an academic, Dr. Berger is a former assistant principal, and he is currently a managing partner at Reignlight and hosts a unique podcast, Headroom.
