A former New York City teacher in the South Bronx, Spira-Bauer co-founded and led instructional innovation at a Harlem public school. In 2022 Spira-Bauer spoke at EdTech Week, then as iTutor's Chief Academic Officer, on whether edtech makes learning accessible.
John Katzman is CEO of Noodle; the company's team page also lists Katzman as founder of 2U and The Princeton Review and co-author of five books.
